Annual Public Meeting 2026 and 50th Anniversary Celebration

Our annual public meeting with guest speakers and updates on our public transport advocacy efforts nationally and from each of our chapters regional chapters across Canada will be held in Ottawa on May 2, 2026, together with a celebration and retrospective of our fifty years of public transport advocacy.

The meeting will be in hybrid format. You can attend in person, or virtually using Zoom from your computer or phone.

To attend in person you do not need to register in advance, you just need to show up at 3pm!

Getting to the meeting

The Bronson Centre is between Lisgar and Nepean Streets, 1 km north of Highway 417 at the Bronson exit. There is free parking on the neighbouring streets.

For those coming by transit, bus #10 from Lyon Station stops at Primrose and north from Carleton University stops at Nepean. East-west bus #11 stops 2 blocks south at Somerset and Bronson.

Mac Hall at the Bronson Centre is along the corridor to the right from the main lobby. Follow the signs.

Annual General Meetings

The public meeting is preceded by member-only business meetings for Transport Action Ontario and Transport Action Canada. A by-invitation catered dinner will follow the public meeting, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Transport 2000/Transport Action Canada.
