Submission to the FRA Amtrak Daily Long-Distance Service Study

Transport Action has submitted a brief for the US Federal Railroad Administration’s study of Amtrak’s long distance services, supporting the efforts of the Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority to reinstate the North Coast Hiawatha – a service cut analogous the the loss of the Canadian through Calgary – and to emphasize opportunities for renewed and enhanced cross-border connections.
