The event is free and will be in hybrid format – you can join us in person in Ottawa, or attend online using Zoom from your computer or phone.
When: Saturday April 27, 2024, 1pm Eastern – 10am Pacific
Where: 211 Bronson Avenue, Ottawa – Room 098 and Online Zoom Webinar
Members and supporters can register for the public portion of the meeting using the following links. Members in good standing will also receive a link to join the business portion of the meeting via email.
As a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and child of a military family, Christopher Greenlaw has lived all across Canada. Growing up as a transient allowed him to encounter Canada’s various rail services from coast to coast. As a railway historian, Christopher penned a 2007 book on VIA Rail as a result of his lifelong passion for passenger trains.
After retiring as an Aerospace Control Officer, Christopher earned a Master’s Degree in History from Wilfrid Laurier University. He currently serves as the secretary and archivist for the VIA Historical Association while simultaneously curating and managing the CBG Memorial Railway Library & Archives. Christopher is also an avid amateur photographer in the purest sense of the word and lives in Brantford, Ontario with his three sons.
